This custom design-build posed some serious design and logistical challenges due to its low-bank waterfront location, small buildable footprint, and steep access road. The location required a foundation rework for flood surge flow-through. All of these factors led us to a piling style design. With engineered clear cedar soffits and siding accents, hardwood decking, and custom hardwood post-wraps, this contemporary home is the perfect place to enjoy the property’s gorgeous beachfront water view.
